MARY was a little afraid of the remodel. So much so that she, at first, considered hanging the beautiful new wallpaper OVER the old 1980's foam vinyl!
.
I calmly convinced her that would be a mistake and proceeded to remove the old stuff. To our surprise, we found excellent 1963 brown paper drywall in terrific condition. Flat, mildew free and perfect seams. The new paper would go up well. As you can see Mary was very happy with the results, as was I. Like I always say, " if the walls are prepped correctly, the new wallpaper goes up like a dream". She certainly made the right choice. The wallpaper looks fantastic don't you think ?
