It was a challenging job since it was my first in CA for the new year. The walls were from 1908 and the ceiling was cracked from the age. But Mollie had picked a great wallpaper from Bradbury and Bradbury, and the room needed a color to go with the metallic pattern. Well , Mollie found it! Tropical dusk from Benjamin Moore. The kicker was the pearlescent trim and ceiling. By faux painting the ceiling with a stucco skip swirl, The tiny hairline cracking seemed to disappear. The trim being done in pearl makes the room glow and with the "ball-busting" chandelier Jesse and I spent an hour hanging : ) The room was finished and is a major jump toward excellence in the new year. Thanks to all. Hope Lucy Fur feels better!
